6/1/16: On Monday, June 5, the students will be showing their GSS Culture Projects that they have been working on very hard. Please come join us in the ES Auditorium from 9:15am-10:00am. Students are welcome to bring a typical food item from their country, but it is not required. Students are also welcome to dress nicely or wear their school uniform. Información de Bake Sale: Estoy muy orgullosa de los estudiantes de 3A quienes han planeado un Bake Sale para donar a la Fundación Hogar Adulto Mayor Necesitado. El Bake Sale está programado el día 6 de junio. Vamos a vender los tiquetes este jueves, viernes, y lunes. El viernes les aviso los números que venden, y también el lunes. Los siguientes estudiantes van a preparar la comida en la casa y venir con la comida lista en la mañana el 6 de junio. Con el dinero, Ms. Leann y Ms. Megan van a comprar cosas para ayudar los abuelitos y los estudiantes van a presentar las cosas a un representante de la fundación el 7 de junio. - Next Monday, December 5 students will present their character impersonation for the American Revolution. You are invited to visit us in the Pax Nest from 9:00-10:00! We look forward to seeing you there! Information about the character impersonation and the rubric can be found here.
- Also on Monday, December 5, students will take a short quiz on Main Idea and Details for Language Arts.
- On Friday, December 9, school dismisses at 12:30. The Christmas Show will be Friday evening in the Coliseo.
- On Monday, December 12, we have a DLI test. The test will include grammar, spelling, complete sentences (subject and predicate), and plural nouns.
- On Tuesday, December 13, we have our Flag Raising at 7:30. The kids have worked very hard on a presentation about Social Responsibility. Please join us in the Pax Nest on the 13th!
- Also on Tuesday, December 13, we have our Chapter 4 Math Test. The rubric for the test can be found here.
- The students' biggest struggle with Chapter Four so far are Multiplication Properties and Multiplication Word Problems. IXL H.6, H.7, N.5, N.6, N.8, N.9, and N.10 will be most beneficial to practice at home.

We will be selling five different products. The students (with the help of parents) will be completely in charge of the bake sale.

New quarter means new reading logs! Students are bringing home their old reading logs today. Please keep these at home, you may do whatever you want with them. Please keep your reading goal sheets in your purple folders. We will continue to look at these throughout the year. Students will be reevaluating their reading goals, so I have put new reading goal sheets in their purple folders. Please fill these out at home and track each time the students fulfull their goals.
